Dorothy Hancock Garriott, 94, of Bedford, Ky., died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville, Ky.
She was born July 22, 1907, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of Earnest and Inez Carr Hancock.
She was a teacher and a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church in Wiseโs Landing.
Survivors include a son, Louis B. Garriott of Richmond; a daughter, Betty Garriott Andrew of Bedford; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Garriott; and her parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford, with burial in Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
