OMAR SMITH

Funeral services were held last Friday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home for Omar Smith,86, of Flemingsburg Ky. Burial was in the Fleming County Cemetery.
A retired farmer-landowner who resided on Mills Avenue, he died July 18 at the Fleming County Hospital.
Mr. Smith was a son of the late Isaac William and Julia Ann[Watkins}Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha{Bradley}Smith, and a daughter, Mrs. Tommy{Catherine}Strode of Flemingsburg Ky.. He also leaves brothers and sisters who are William and Kirby Smith, both of Flemingsburg, Arthur Smith of Ripley, Mrs. Lizzie Rice of Flemingsburg, Mrs. Fannie Hatfield and Mrs. Lennie Hall, both of Maysville Kentucky. Among other survivors are a grand child and nine great-grandchilden.
