Requiem high mass was said in the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Timber Lake Saturday morning, May 11, for Mrs. Frank Holzer Sr. Rev. Gorman was celebrant while the Holy Cross choir sang the mass with Sister Mary David as organist. Stanley, Danny, and Benny Holzer, grandsons of the deceased, and Jimmy Kraft and Benjie Stoick served as altar boys.
Interment was in the Holy Cross cemetery. Ferdinand, Anton J., Leopold and Johnny Goldade, nephews, and Edward Kraft and Tony Voller, cousins of Mrs. Holzer, were the pallbearers. Kesling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth Goldade was born Nov 10, 1895, at Hague, ND, a daughter of John and Johanna Reis Goldade. She was married to Frank Holzer on Oct 12, 1914, at Hague. The family moved to a farm south of Timber Lake in 1915. Mrs. Holzer had been in failing health the past two years. She had been hospitalized off and on during this period. She was taken to the Mobridge hospital Sunday, May 5, and passed away at the hospital Wednesday morning, May 8.

She was a member of the Holy Cross Altar Society. The group attended the funeral services in a body.

Mrs. Holzer is survived by her husband; seven sons: Anton, Michael, Joseph, Adam, John and Frank of Timber Lake, and Stephen of Pasco, WA; three daughters: Mrs. Allen (Regina) Hellesund of Timber Lake, Mrs. Francis (Anna) Reinbold of Firesteel, and Mrs. Kenneth (Marian) Bailey of Milwaukee, OR; three sisters: Magadeline Bosch of Bismarck, ND, Rosalia Richter and Barbara Roerick both of Napoleon, ND; one brother: Joseph Goldade.
