Ada was probably born in 1897 in Dawson Co. considered part of the Atlanta Georgia area. She was 3 when the 1900 Federal Census was taken in June of 1900 but this may have been a mistake and should have been 3/12, still a mistake since she would have been 6 months old. They then lived in Dawson County at that time. Her mother was a widow and when she was 12 in the 1910 census in Crutcho Township, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma she lived with her mother and step-father Lou and William Stone.
