Jason died at age 80. *It is suspected he was actually born 8/22/1861, his headstone is 8/22/1871. Most records vary bet. 1870 & 1872.
His NC death cert indicates Aug. 22, 1870, living his entire life in Mountain Creek Twp. Sherrills Ford, Catawba Co., NC. Farmer by trade. Parents George W. Moss & Jennie Lee Gilliland. Wife Minnie Bell Sherrill. Burial 4/20/1942

Alt. spelling of first name as Jasen, age 8, 1880 census; 1900 census as Jaron A. Mors [Jason A. Mors], age 28, living in father's home, widowed w/son Cullen, age 7.
