Elmer Lemons, 74, former resident of 1703 E. 16th St., died Tuesday afternoon at the Masonic Home, Franklin, following a short illness. He had resided at the home for one year. He was a native of Washington county and had resided in Muncie for 44 years. A carpenter by trade, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 607 of Frankton.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Bertha Kelley, Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews and several step-children.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Parson Mortuary with the Frankton Masonic Lodge officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
