THE PARIS NEWS Mon., Dec. 30, 1946. 'Mrs. T.B. Holderness, 252-8th NE, died of a heart attack at home at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29. She was formerly Miss Willie Raines, daughter of the late R. and Mary E. Raines, and was born Oct. 5, 1869, in Hopkins County. She had lived in Lamar
County most of her life and was a member of the First Methodist Church and of Paris Rebecca Lodge No. 20. The funeral, conducted by the Rev. Walter Vanderpool of First Methodist Church and the Rev. Ben Bell of Calvary Methodist Church was set for 4 p.m. Monday at Manton-Fry Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Named as pallbearers were O.W. Nowlin, Luther Higgs, Harvey Loyless, Sam Pointer, Ola Gain and C.B. Harris. Besides her husband, Mrs. Holderness leaves these sisters, and brothers: Mrs. W.L. Nettles and Leonard Raines, Paris; Mrs. Guy Fay, Tulsa, Ok, and R.G. Raines, Ardmore, OK.
