Garnet Wooten Williams, age 90, of Hendersonville, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013. Graveside service will be Wednesday October 9, at 2:00 p.m. from Crestview Memory Park with Danny Wooten, Brandon Schell, Clayton Sherrod, Dale Choate, Baker Schell, and Ethan Choate serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time to leave for the cemetery at Alexander Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October, 12 at 10 a.m. at Park Place Retirement Community in Hendersonville. Mrs. Williams was born July 3, 1923 in Frametown, West Virginia to the late Charles Kenton Meadows and Icee Louise Bourne Meadows. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Luster Williams, brothers, Kenton Meadows and Carson Meadows, sisters, Greta McClendon and Gara Meadows, and brother-in-law, James H. McClendon. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Danny M. Wooten, daughter, Brenda Wooten Wix, sister-in-laws, Acel Meadows, Ruby Meadows, and Wanda Wooten Wooden, grandchildren, Chasity Choate, Brandon Schell, and Clayton Sherrod, and great-grandchildren, Ethan Choate, Dakota Choate, Baker Schell, Cooper Schell, Mackenzie Schell, and River Schell.
