Obituary
Mrs. Adele (Cohen) Baler, 68, of 2 South
Green St., died Tuesday afternoon at the
Jordan Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Edward F. Baler.
Mrs. Baler was long active with the
affairs in the Beth Jacob Sisterhood and
the Hadassah. She was the daughter of
one of the founders of the Beth Jacob
Synagogue around the turn of the century.
She was born in Plymouth on April 23, 1915,
the daughter of the late Julius and Mary
(Goldberg) Cohen.
A member of the class of 1933, Plymouth High
School, she celebrated the 50th reunion of
her class last June.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons,
Gregory Robert Baler and Mark David Baler,
both of Plymouth; a sister Mrs. Jacob J.
(Helen) Goldman of Braintree; and three
grandchildren, Adam John, Jeffrey Evan,
and Lauren Meredith Baler, all of Plymouth.
Rabbi Lawrence Silverman conducted the
services Wednesday at Beth Jacob Synagougue.
Burial was in the Beth Jacob Memorial Plot
in Vine Hills Cemetery.
