Mrs. Virginia W. Heald died yesterday afternoon at her home, 834 North Van Buren Street, making the third death in the family in less than eight months. Her husband, William L. Heald, who was connected with the trust department of the Wilmington Trust Company, died last February and a sister, Miss Sarah L. Wooley, died Easter Sunday night at the Heald home.
Mrs. Heald was taken ill Monday with a heart attack, but he condition was not thought to be serious. A sister, Mrs. Robert O. Janvier, who lives at the home, found her dead on the floor of her room.
Mrs. Heald and her sister had taken a trip to Nova Scotia during the summer, returning home Labor Day. She is survived by a son, Willard H. Heald, a grandson, Richard T. Heald, and Mrs. Janvier. She was born in this city, a daughter of the late James and Anna M. Wooley. She was a member of the Wilmington New Century Club and of West Presbyterian Church.
The funeral will take place from the home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Dr. A. H. Kleffman, pastor of West Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wilmington and Brandywine cemetery."
