Clyde, Geraldine Few Kirkpatrick, age 97, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at The Homestead.

A native of Greer, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mabel Laura Ferguson Few. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Kirkpatrick, who passed away in 1988; a sister, Dot Lynn and a brother, Harold Few. She retired from Dayco Corporation with 26 years service. Geraldine enjoyed crocheting, quilting and reading. She volunteered eight years at Haywood Christian Ministries and was a member of Crabtree United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, George Kirkpatrick and his wife, Dale, of Clyde and Gerald "Bud" Kirkpatrick and his wife, Sandra, of Waynesville; a sister, Edith Greene of Dayton, Tennessee; brother in-law, Rudolph Lynn of Travelers Rest; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Crabtree United Methodist Church with Reverend Billy Ferguson and Reverend Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Dawn Memory Gardens.
