Mrs. Asche had been in poor health for several years, and finally last December an operation was decided upon, hoping to effect a cure. She apparently recovered hopefully in strength and activity, and for a time believed a cure had been effected. This year, however, there was a return of the disease, and gradually she grew weaker until the final summons came.
A devoted husband and mother and four children, besides many friends, mourn her untimely loss. The funeral service was held at the Swedish Lutheran church, Tuesday, March 25, at 3 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. G.E. Hemdahl. There was a large attendance of sympathizing friends, many of whom followed her remains to their last resting place in Oakland cemetery.
