Mrs. Thelma Collins Cranford, 87, of 2301 Selwyn Ave. died July 5, 1992, at home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cranford, a Marshville native, was a former assistant to the director of the YMCA, S. Tryon Street branch. She also was a Mecklenburg Times advertising department employee and was a member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are her son, Spencer; daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnston; sister, Mrs. Mildred Arrington; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
