Max W. Krumanaker, 71, 206 Sara Ave., died Sunday morning in Marion General Hospital.

He was born in Mishawaka, Ind., Feb. 25, 1916, the son of Schuyler and Faye Welker Krumanaker.

He retired in 1986 as plant superintendent for Dallas Corporation Todco Division, Marion, after 30 years of service.

Mr. Krumanaker was a member of Masonic Lodge 483 Huntington, Ind., Elks Lodge 32, Marion, and Moose Lodge 889, Marion.

On Nov. 11, 1939, he married the former Carolyn Schenkle in Mishawaka, and she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Kent Krumanaker, Marion; a daughter, Mrs. James (Kay) Mitchell, Marion; two sisters, Lucile Smith, South Bend, Ind., and Cleo Philion, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and seven grandchidren. A sister is deceased,
