Leroy W. Bunch, of the Wofford Community, Williamsburg, Ky., departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tenn. He was 86 years, one month, and 22 days of age. He was born on Aug. 27, 1927 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Joe Luther Bunch and Prudie Kerr Bunch. In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Jones. He was a deacon and member of Wofford Baptist Church of Williamsburg, Ky. He was retired from Hillenbrand Industries of Batesville, Ind.
He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Wanda Rymer Bunch of the Wofford Community, Williamsburg, Ky.; one son, Rev. Bobby Joe Bunch and his wife Carlas of the Wofford Community, Williamsburg, Ky.; three grandchildren, Lisa Miller and her husband Jim of Williamsburg, Ky., Kristy Rhodes and her husband Rev. Paul of Siler, Ky. and Aron Bunch and his wife Jamie of Corbin, Ky.; seven great-grandchildren, Sara Miller, Rebecca Miller, Roy Joe Rhodes, Megan Jo Rhodes, Macy Ann Bunch, Morgan Stacy and Dylan Stacy; a niece, Donna Smith of the Wofford Community, Williamsburg, Ky.; a nephew Michael Rymer of Dayton, Ohio; land a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Bunch, Rev. Paul Rhodes and Rev. Joshua Bowman officiating. He was laid to rest in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery in Williamsburg.
