PHYLLIS ANN CRIST REGAN
Phyllis Ann Crist Regan of Arlington, Virginia, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend went to be with her Lord on Wednesday October 30, 2013. Phyllis was born May 14, 1935 to Margaret and John Herbert Crist in Charlottesville, Virginia. She grew up in Schuyler, Virginia and moved to Arlington at the age of 12. She graduated W & L High School in 1953. In 1959 she married the late Eugene John Regan Sr.
Phyllis worked for the Department of the Navy until 1967. Phyllis was an active member for many years of the Society of Virginia, the Arlington Women's Club, the Extension Service of Arlington, and The Red Hat Society. Phyllis and Gene were also founding families of the Cathedral of St. Thomas More.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, John Herbert Crist, her mother, Margaret Banton Crist Devers, and her husband, Eugene John Regan Sr. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, John and Judy Regan and Chris and Tina Regan, four grandchildren, Joseph Regan, Jacqueline Regan, Keara Regan, and Sean Regan, her dear cousin, Ann Dean, as well as her extended family and long-time friends.
The family will receive visitors at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, Virginia on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, Virginia.
