Donald F. (Deanie) Dean, 68, of Charleroi, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, in McMurray Hills Manor, Peters Township. He was born May 18, 1934, in Charleroi, a son of the late John E. and Mary Coulson Dean. He served with the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. An avid bowler, he retried in 1997 from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Plant. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Perry Dean of Charleroi; one daughter, Cynthia Sitka and her husband, Michael, of Houston, Pa.; one son, Donald J. Dean and his wife, Carrie, of Hopewell Township; seven stepchildren, Lisa Perry of Charleroi, Dean Perry and his wife, Tracey, of Torrington, Conn., Cole Perry and his wife, Brenda, of Charleori, Celeste Keefe and Dennis Waggoner of Monongahela, Mark Perry and his wife, Georgia, of Marianna, Stacey Obitko of Charleroi, Annette Cottle and husband, Kenneth, of North Charleroi; 16 grandchildren; one brother, John E. (Jack) Dean Jr. and wife, Dorothy, of Monessen; and one sister, Evelyn Perok and her husband, Sam, of Charleroi; and niece and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ED MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES INC., 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Hartzler of the Calvary Bible Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
