Born at Chatsworth, daughter of Thomas & Eliza Hill Huxtable. Married Mr Albert Monroe, March 1916 in Bartonville, where she lived 76 years, 55 of those years in the same house. Mr Monroe passed away 1956. She was a member of Bartonville United Methodist church, the Neighborhood House Senior Citizens Club, Neighborhood House Travel Club and Harrison Homes Senior Citizens Club. Surviving is her daughter, Mrs Walter Wichman with whom she made her home. Also a sister, Mrs Clara Graham also of Bartonville. Excerpt Peoria Journal Star Wed Oct 11, 1972
