Paul G Clayton age 80 of Grinnell, Iowa died on Friday at St Francis Manor in Grinnell. Inurnment in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery rural Grinnell, Iowa.

Paul Gene Clayton was the son of Allen Paul and Jeanetta Graham Clayton. He attended rural school near Brooklyn and later attended public school in Grinnell.

He was married December 8, 1956 to Marge Roorda in Montezuma, Iowa. They were the parents of Dennis, Dan, Janet, Deb and Susie.

Following his marriage the couple lived near Grinnell and he worked for Lang's Dairy and Grinnell College. He was employed by the Department of Transportation for 28 years and retired in 1995. The couple moved into Grinnell in 2000 and they have resided at Seeland Park since 2012.

Paul was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Chester Royal Grange and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed life on the farm, fishing and camping.
