Imo Gene Wehunt Meekins, 84, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2012. She was born October 5, 1927, to Edward G. Wehunt and Addie (Greene) Wehunt.
She ran the Bee Branch truck stop from 1978 till a tornado destroyed it in June of 1989. In her later years, she did demos at Walmart and Kroger.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
She leaves behind her son Bobbie Hunter (Melanie) of Clinton Arkansas. Daughter Cheryl Roberson (Eddie Jo) of Clinton Arkansas. Son William Dennis. Son James Dennis (Vicky) of Bee Branch, Arkansas. Granddaughter Jennifer (Hunter) Rupp of Anderson, CA. Grandson Robert Hunter of Anderson, CA. Granddaughter Becky Taylor of Russellville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years Arthur D. Meekins; son: Jasper Meekins, who was an ordained Baptist preacher, two brothers: Paul Wehunt and Reverend Joseph Wehunt; two sisters: Helen Spotts and Grace Reynolds, infant grandson Bobby Matthews.
