WILBUR BUTLER DIES
IN N. J. HOSPITAL
Wilbur F. Butler, of 14 Coddington drive, New Providence, N. J., formerly of Bridgeport and son of Mrs. Carrie Butler, of Bridgeport, died Nov. 5 in Overlook hospital, Summit, N. J., after suffering a heart attack. Services were conducted Friday. Burial was in Linden, N. J.
Born in Bridgeport, Mr. Butler has been a resident of New Jersey many years. He was past master of Washington Lodge 33, F and AM, and past commander of St. John's Commandery, Knights Templer, of New Jersey. Mr. Butler was former chairman of Boy Scout troop eight, of Trinity Episcopal church, and a member of the Union Lodge of Elks, of New Jersey.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Mrs. Eleanor McFarlane Butler; a son and daughter; three sisters, Mrs. Estelle Shea, of Straford, Mrs. Caroline Leibold, of Long Island and Mrs. Madelyn Marshall, of Bridgeport, and two grandchildren.
Wilbur married (1) Edith M. Palmer 16 Jun 1926 in Manhattan NY. Wilbur and Edith had 2 children.
Wilbur married (2) Eleanor "Ellie" McFarlane.
