"On Thursday the 14th Currant, died Mrs. Eunice Willard, Widow to the late Reverend Mr. Samuel Willard Minister of the South Church in Boston, and Daughter ot Edward Tyng Esq; deceased. she was a Gentlewoman of Exemplary Piety, Strict Vertue, and great Charity. One in whom Dwelt the same unfeigned Faith that was in Eunice of Old; and like Pheobe[?] she was a Servant of the Church and a Succourer of many, by her Prayers, Alms and Religious Conversation; a Real and Great Ornament to Religion, and had therefore the honor done her which is due to Widows Indeed. She was Buried the 18th with great Respect. Aged 65."
