Lillie (Rector) Adair, 79, of Pacolet Mills, died Sunday, October 9, 2005, at Magnolia Place of Spartanburg.

Born December 6, 1925, in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Maude (Henderson) Rector.

Retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Company after 40 years of service, she was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Fred Dean Adair, Sr. of Pacolet Mills, Johnny T. Miller, II and Warren C. Miller, both of Rock Hill; a daughter, Mary Lou Miller Stillwell of McAdenville, NC; grandchildren, Cammie Adair, Fred Dean Adair, Jr., Jonathan Miller, Cameron Miller, Seathen Miller, Trey Miller, Joshua Miller, and Bailey Miller; three brothers, James Edward Rector, Robert Rector, and Thomas Rector, all of Cherokee County; two sisters, Fannie Mae Salmon of Kokomo, IN, and Mary Scott Rector of Cherokee County; dearest friend and cousin, Ruby Martin Ellison of Pacolet Mills, and a daughter of the heart, Linda Ellison Chadwick of Pacolet Mills.

She was predeceased by a brother, Goodlett Rector; and two sisters, Ruth R. Palmer and Elaine Rector.

Visitation was 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel.

Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Norman L. Band and Rev. Mike McGaha. Burial was in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
