MRS. LULA BEASLEY, widow of the late Grover C. Beasley, 225 Kuhn Avenue, died at the Washington County Hospital this morning after an illness of five weeks, aged 53 years. The deceased was born and reared at Hancock, the daughter of the late Banner and Mary (Hull) Hess. She was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are one son, Edward; a sister, Mrs. Lydia E. Barnhart, Hancock; brothers, John E. Hess, Crystal Springs, Pa., and Frank and Howard Hess, Hancock. Two grandchildren also survive.

Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
