Dorothea Warnke, nee Hamburg or Homberg was born in Germany between1849 and 1853. She died on March 6 1898 at age 43. Her 17 children are; Emma Warnke Ruehling, Bertha Warnke Andrews (Andrzejewski), Albert (FAG# ), Adolph(FAG #117687904), August (FAG # 119614541), Edward (FAG #115842124, Frank (FAG # 117688210), Helmuth (FAG#117688070), Henry (FAG# 119614274), Herman (FAG# 117687940), John (FAG# 117687979), Otto (FAG# 119614184), Willie (FAG#119614433). Her husband, William (Willhelm) Warnke is buried here with her. (FAG# 119613962) There was a child Ida born first about 1874 in Chicago. Dorothy, her husband ang most of the children died from TB between 1898-1905. Albert, Adolph, Emma and Bertha survived to adulthood.

Concordia is a Luthern cemetery and likely the Warnke's practiced this faith, as well. The family lived at 3346 Western Ave. in Chicago, Il for most of their lives.
