She was born February 19, 1927 in New Brunswick, IN, daughter of the late Dorval and Edith Ragsdale Hedge.
She married Charles Robert "Bob" Henry on September 25, 1947. He survives.
She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1945. She was a member of the Dover Christian Church, Allison Camping Club, Good Sams and a former member of Jamestown Christian Church. Marjorie enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, going camping, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, surviving are son, Merrill Henry of Zionsville, daughters, Diann (David) Hawkins of Thorntown and Brenda (John) Dewees of Lebanon, grandchildren, Lori (Rod) Rust, Brad Henry, Kristy (Ryan) Bricker, Ryan (Julie) Hawkins, Tyler Hawkins, Alicia (Ryan) Threlkeld, Andrew Dewees, and Brayton Dewees, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, brothers, Delbert Hedge, and Jim Hedge and sisters, Ethel Ross, and Louise Benge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Thelma Wheat and brother Bill Hedge.
Family and friends will call Friday, November 1, 2013, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. Marjorie will be laid to rest at the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery.
