Mrs Daisy Smithart, 315 South H Street, died Tuesday afternoon at Mahaska hospital at the age of 75.

Born at Dahlgren, Ill, she had lived in Oskaloosa for the past 33 years.

Survivors include two sons, Herschel McAdoo of Oskaloosa and James McAdoo of Des Moines; three daughters; Mrs E. L. (Dorothy) Wood of Des Moines and Mrs Annie Gabel and Mrs Rex (Lorene) Almond both of Oskaloosa; 30 grandchildren; two brothers, Cleve Lowery of Mt Vernon, Ill and James Lowery of Tacoma, Wash and four sisters, Mrs Nora Gill of Greenville, Ky, Mrs A. M. Goddard of Tacoma, Wash, Mrs Della Trafton of Ottumwa and Mrs Lucy Fairy of Centralia, Ill.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Powers Funeral Home with Rev Max Johnson in charge. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery.
