* George W. Bell (1844-1898) and
* Susan Bell Merrill (1855-1875.)
In 1850 and 1860 the family lived in Dover, Maine (three year-old Frank H. Stinchfield (1847-1933) was in the household in both US Census enumerations; I do not know his relationship to the Bell family.)
Frank Bell (1846-1908) and Ellen M. Bell (1848-1901) married circa 1870. The couple had six children, of whom five were still living in 1900:
* Walter Bell (born circa 1872 and died after 1930,)
* Grace Bell (1874-1960,)
* Adah M. Bell (1878-1952,)
* Martha C. Bell (1881-1908,) and
* Mary Bell (1882-1974.)
The 1870 US Census shows Frank and Ellen wiving with Frank's older brother George Bell and his wife Lydia, as well as Watts Humphrey (1844-1916) and his wife Emma Humphrey, in Inverness, Cheboygan County, Michigan.
By 1880 Frank and Ellen had moved to Benton, Cheboygan County, Michigan, where lived with their three young children (Walter, Grace, and Adah). Daughter Mary was born in 1881 and sometime between her birth and 1900 the entire family moved to Spokane, Washington. (Eldest child Walter lived in Spokane in 1900, but not with his parents and siblings; he had married and lived with his wife and child.)
