She was born March 3, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Donald and MaryAnn (Carmany) Shull. In 1969, she graduated from Bedford High School and on August 28th of that same year she married her sweetheart Roger W. Butler. She has been a resident of Jefferson since 1976, coming from Chesterland.
Donna formerly worked for General Electric and Patterson Fruit Farm, both in Chesterland, Glastics Corp. in Jefferson and Butler Dairy Farms where she was an active owner.
She was on the Ashtabula County Fair Board Woman's Auxiliary and she enjoyed the Falcon Follies and helping with the cast party. She loved bowling, reading, and her family most of all. Her grandchildren were her joy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Shull in 1998, and son, Kenneth W. Butler in 1998.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1st, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 41 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Jim Brehler officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Pierpont.
Calling Hours will be held Thursday, Oct. 31st, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, Inc., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.
Contributions may be made to the Donna Butler Memorial Fund, in care of any Andover Bank, envelopes will also be available at the Funeral Home."
