Mr. William John Allagood, 58 of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday morning, October 29, 2013, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
Born in Hazlehurst, GA on September 11, 1955, he had lived in Pierce County since the early ‘90's. He had worked for NAPPA in Waycross for 18 years before becoming a truck driver for Schnider Truck Lines in 2004 and retiring in 2011. Mr. Allagood attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and loved to hunt, go camping and watch westerns.
He was a son of the late Hubert Hamilton & Fannie Lou Hipps Allagood, Sr.. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert Hamilton Allagood, Jr. and David Allagood.
Survivors include her husband, Brenda Fenton Allagood of Blackshear; a step-daughter, Lisa Marie Conditt of Batesville, AR; two step-sons, Daniel David Jones of Savannah and Frank Robert Elder of Blackshear; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence & Kenneth Rowland of Hazlehurst and Brenda & Tim Nellis of Newnan, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Dewitt and Clara Allagood of Hazlehurst; a step-granddaugther, Mary Marie Conditt; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Satilla Hospice House, 811 Beacon Street, Waycross, GA 31501 or to the Southeast Cancer Unit, PO Box 2764, Waycross, GA 31502.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Service:
Funeral services for Mr. Allagood will be held Friday afternoon, November 1, 2013, at 3:00 o'clock from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Cemetery:
Memorialization will be by cremation.
