J. Robert Dahlberg, 66, of Jeannette, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, in his home. He was born Dec. 9, 1934, in Erie, a son of the late Ernest and Alfhild Gustafson Dahlberg. Bob was a retired mechanical engineer for PPG Industries. He held a master's degree from Penn State and was Lutheran by faith. Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. Dahlberg; and children, Dr. Thomas R. Dahlberg of Los Gatos, Calif., and Ms. Colleen Dahlberg Kerila of Pittsburgh. There will be no public viewing. Private services will be held, with interment to follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations to either the Respiratory Alliance of Pennsylvania or the American Lung Association.
