James L. Ballard-81-Limestone. James L. Ballard died Friday 4-11-2008 at a Caribou hospital. He was born 7-30-1926 in Limestone, the son of Hilkiah and Mina (Kearney) Ballard. James was employed for many years by the United States Postal Service and retired as postmaster. He was an active member of the Limestone Masonic Lodge #214 and Anah Temple Shrine. He is survived by nieces and nephews and special friends Paul and Shirley Michaud. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by a brother Beecher and a sister Dorothy McKenney. Burial Ward Cemetery in Limestone.
