Mr. Thurmond Green Shepherd, 83 of Sparta Road, North Wilkesboro, died September 30, 2005, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Shepherd was born April 9, 1922, in Wilkes County to Clarence and Nora Wingler Shepherd. He was a member of Harvest Time Ministries. He was the owner of Mulberry Amoco.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Bauguess Shepherd of the home; one son, Lloyd Dean Shepherd of North Wilkesboro; one daughter, Betty Elledge and husband Ralph of North Wilkesboro; one brother, Rev. Bud Shepherd of North Wilkesboro; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services held at Miller Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bud Shepherd and the Rev. Gene Shepherd officiating. Burial was in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
