GREENWOOD, LA. – Funeral services for Mr. Jerald F. Aucoin, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, 1997, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel with Rev. Robert Davis, pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park West. Funeral home visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Aucoin, a native of Shreveport, died Friday, May 2, 1997 at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. He was a carpenter, a Baptist, a member of the American Legion 40&8 Club, VFW and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, WWII.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Gussie Aucoin; two sisters, Thelma Guimbellot and Lottie Hickman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Reynolds Aucoin of Greenwood; two sons, Richard Beckham of Greenwood, Kenneth Beckham of Shreveport; four daughters, Katherine Baker of Blanchard, Joy Simmons, Theressa Rhoades, both of Keithville, La., Melissa Crandell of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Margie Wiley of Jamestown, La.; one brother, Howard Aucoin, Sr. of Shreveport; grandchildren: Bryan & Michael Bowman, Tommy & Matthew Beckham, Travis, Virgil & Tiffany Baker, Robbie, Brandon, Crystal & Justin Beckham, Donald, Nicole & Ashley Rhoades, John & Jason Cassidy, Tyley, Bryan & Corey Crandell; great-grandchildren: Andrew & Aaron Simmons, a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
