She was born on Jan. 12, 1931, in Schuyler County near Mindale to Leonard and Nettie M. Vance Shelts. She married Duane R. Osborne on Aug. 6, 1950 near Camden. He died Oct. 25, 1992.
Pat was a 1948 graduate of Augusta High School. She was the bookkeeper at the Hancock County Shelter Care Home in Augusta for many years. She was also an Avon sales representative for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the Augusta VFW Auxiliary and the Living Faith United Methodist Church. Pat was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.
She is survived by a son, Todd (Marcie) Osborne of Ringgold, Ga.; four grandchildren, Casie (Andrew) Dawson, Christi, Colin and Courtney Osborne; three great-grandchildren, Lexi, Bradley and Dylan Dawson; two brothers, Charles (Betty) Shelts of Rushville and Phillip Shelts of Spring Arbor, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kamm.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta by the Rev. Dixie Croxton. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Augusta.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southeastern School Baseball Programs.
