Joyce Wisinger, age 82, of Bogata, passed away, Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Mrs. Wisinger was born January 24, 1931, in Clarksville to Will and Viola Cowell Abernathy. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Mrs. Wisinger was a member and very active in the First Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and Deacon and also was a member of the church choir. She married Fred "Rabbit" Wisinger on July 1, 1960.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ed Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the church.

Survivors include her husband Fred "Rabbit" Wisinger of Bogata; two daughters, Melani Wisinger and friend, Jim Hinckley of Garland and Dana Moore and husband Rusty of Coushatta, Louisiana; and her favorite grandson, Ethan McLendon of Clarksville.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church at P.O. Box 732, Clarksville, Texas 75426 or the American Alzheimer's Association.
