Abbie "Jean" Logue, 71, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 1:50 A.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Imboden Creek Living Center.
Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
Jean was born November 26, 1935, in Clinton County, KY, daughter of Welby and Lucy Covey.Jean married Earl Logue on December 31, 1982. She had worked at Hi Flier Kite Mfg. and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her loving husband of nearly 25 years; Daughter Marilyn Means (Steve), Shelly (Steve), Lana (John); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Geneviva of Decatur, Judy of Winchester, KY; brother Jay of Ringold, GA; several very special nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, sister Eugenia Driver, brother Robert Covey.
Jean had a sparkle in her eye and a zest for life and will be truly missed by her family and friends.She loved to watch her grandchildren play sports and enjoyed her vegetable garden.
The family would like to thank Dr. Perdekamp of Cancer Care and especially the fifth floor nursing staff at DMH and Imboden Creek Living Center.Your compassion and caring helped us all get through this difficult time.
