Married Margaret Louise Scott Nov. 7, 1943 in New Market. She preceded him in death June 29, 1991.
He married Joyce Mulcaster May 10, 1977 in Florida. She survives.
Also surviving are sons: Ted A. Priebe, Terry S. Priebe and Tim E. (Vanessa) Priebe; step-daughters Judy Parker and Jill Parker; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Tim Scott Priebe and a brother, Fred H. Priebe.
He was a 1941 graduate of New Market High School. Mr. Priebe was a retired Farmer.
His memberships included Waveland Masonic Lodge; Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine of Indianapolis; Crawfordsville and Pompano Beach Elks Club; Purdue University President's Council; John Purdue Club; Windsor Yacht Club; and the Solidarity Towers Boat Club, Windsor. He hosted the 1972 Farm Management Tour of Indiana; was named an Indiana Prairie Farmer Magazine Master Farmer in 1974; hosted the Farm and Progress Show in 1979; was on the Board of Directors of the Elston Bank and Montgomery County Farm Bureau Co-Op; was the President of the Montgomery County Corn Growers Association; Chairman of the Montgomery County 4-H Livestock Auction; was a member of the New Market School Corporation Building Committee when the new high school was built in 1957; was a Southmont FFA Farm Donor; and was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church.
Services are 11am Saturday, November 2, in the Whitesville Christian Church with Rev. Michael Whitacre officiating. Calling is at the church on Friday from 4-8pm, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
