Mrs. Addie Laurie Carrico, 68, wife of Joseph Richard Carrico, died Monday at her home at St. Francis. She had been ill for several years with complications.
Born at Raywick on September 28, 1882, Mrs. Carrico was a daughter of the late Alex and Sally Victoria Vittitoe. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Her husband and two daughters survive. The latter are Mrs. Addie Mayola Mattingly and Mrs. Zola Mattingly, both of this county. Two half-sister, Ms. Willie Mae Blair of Louisville and Mrs. Roxie Mathis of Bardstown, also survive. There are six grandchildren.
The body was at the Mattingly Funeral Home until the funeral services. which were conducted Wednesday morning by the Rev. John Talbott Spalding at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Addie Leorie is buried in cemetery #2 in section 15.
