Services for Ms. Alma Rose Brammer will be Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at West Side Church of Christ. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Ms. Brammer died August 6, 2013. She was born August 7, 1936 in Eagletown, Oklahoma.

Alma Rose Brammer 76 passed away on Aug 6, 2013 at her home in Killeen, TX after a battle with Cancer.

She was born August 7, 1936 to Glenn P Kennedy and Ethel Leola McKnight. Alma graduated from Kent Meridian High School and attended Seattle Pacific College to be a missionary, but met the love of her life and married Hurshell Brammer on July 3, 1957. They traveled all over Europe and the US while in the military until retiring and settling in Killeen, TX, establishing A-1 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. She was the receptionist for their business for many years while raising their two children and becoming a grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, sisters: Ora Lee Boyett and Glenna Brooks, husband Hurshell Brammer, and son-in-law James M. Johnson.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Kennedy; sister, Mary Lou Harwood; daughters: Shelly Johnson, Sandy Fortenberry and husband Teddy; granddaughters: Sharesa Hayman and husband Eric, Lacy Kirkes and husband Kyle; grandsons: Teddy Fortenberry and wife Brenda, Jimmy Johnson and wife Mallory; and great grandchildren: Brayden Hayman, Evan Hayman, Karen Rose Fortenberry, Marsela Fortenberry, Harper Rose Johnson, and Kinsley Kirkes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her church West Side Church of Christ and her great grandchildren were the highlight of her life.
