Frances and Alvin were married on July 20, 1937 in Los Angeles, Calif., and lived in Globe since 1952. Frances retired in 1969 from the Arizona Record newspaper in Globe. She also had been employed by the Arizona Silver Belt newspaper, which was in Miami at that time. She then worked 12 years for Cities Service Co. She and Alvin both retired in 1981.
Their children are Ralph Gerhardt of globe and Janet McClintock of Citrus Heights, Calif.
