Born in Shanghai, China, where her father was stationed, Ann graduated from Miss Porter's school, Farmington, CT, in 1950 and made her debut in Washington, D.C., that same year. She later attended Holton Arms and graduated from George Washington University. This pretty brown eyed brunette was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Junior League, and was Queen of the President's Cup Regatta in 1951.
She married Joseph H. Hilbish, Jr., by whom she had a son, Joseph III, and a daughter, Janey.
An Episcopalian, her burial service on 29 JUL 1975 was at St. Ann's Church, Annapolis, Md.
