Samson Lefort
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off for Samson Raymond Lefort, 94, a native of Leeville and resident of Cut Off, who died at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1997.
He was the father of Sam Jr., Pershing and Leroy Lefort and Florence Lasseigne.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eusta B. Lefort; second wife, Julie B. Lefort; parents, Adrian and Elizabeth Pitre Lefort; two sons, Herman and Ernest Lefort; a daughter, Louella Lefort; two brothers, Andrew and Cleo Lefort; five sisters, Teresa and Amilian Lefort, Leonise Terrebonne, Victoria Dantin and Lucy Curole; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
