David Piper was born August 4, 1827, in Montgomery Co., Ohio, died February 11. 1906, aged 78 years, 6 months and 11 days. He came with his father to Indiana in the year of 1843. He was married to Sarah Stoffer in the year of 1852; to this union was born 13 children, 6 of whom are still living. Mrs. Piper died in 1872. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Irvin Fisher, of Mexico, at the residence of Abraham McDonald at 2:30 o'clock p. m. Tuesday. Interment in the Denver cemetery.
