Services for Kenneth Dean Beadel were held Friday, April 13 at the Larkin-Bender Funeral Home in Lenox, Iowa.
Kenneth, the son of Walter R. and Delia M. Belding Beadel, was born July 28, 1914 in Taylor county, Iowa. He died at the Clearview Nursing Home in Clearfield, Iowa on Tuesday, April 10, 1984 at the age of sixty-nine years, eight months
and twelve days. He had been ill for a short time.
Kenneth was united in marriage with Deva M. Younkin on April 14, 1935.
He was a kind man and a hard worker who loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter, Betty Joan.
Survivors are his four sons, Bill Dean and wife, Patsy of Lenox, Harold Eugene and wife, Darlene of Buckner, Missouri,
Robert Duane and wife, Candy of Kansas City, Missouri, and Melvin LeRoy of Maryville, Missouri; his daughter, Patricia
Lee Dye and husband, Curtis of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Regina and Robert Beadel, Shelley and Christopher Beadel, Janette and LeRoy Beadel, Robert Beadel, Jr., and Terry, Curtis Gene, and Kevin Dye; greatgranddaughters, Christine, Valerie, Dawn, and Heather Dye; two brothers, Reldon and wife. Katherine of Lenox and Wendell and wife, Nadine of Oskaloosa. Iowa.
Reverend Lester Hesseltine, pastor of the Lenox United Methodist Church, officiated at the 2 p.m. services. Music was by Norma Paymal, organist, and Marilyn Beck and Diana Maharry, vocalists. The selections were "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Ivory Palaces'
Casket bearers were Kenny Black, Paul Calvin, James Calvin, Howard Elder, Bill Barrans, and Bill Reed.
Interment was in the East Fairview Cemetery at Lenox.
