Homer C. Batsford, 70, of Cortland passed away October 3, 2013 at home.
Homer was born December 20, 1942 in Cortland the son of the late Harold B. and Pearl Twitchell Batsford.
Homer served his country with the US Marines during Viet Nam, had been employed at Cooper Tools.
Homer was an avid golfer and bowler, enjoyed traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his many friends.
Homer is survived by his sister Eva (Thomas) Nestrick of Vestal, brothers Warren (Teri) Batsford of Florida, Paul Batsford of Cortland, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members
In addition to his parents Homer was predeceased by his 1st wife Evelyn Batsford, 2nd wife Pauline Parker Batsford, brothers Harold, Charles and David Batsford.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in Atwater Cemetery Homer.
At Homer's request there are no calling hours.
