Lorraine Lindberg, 84, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at her home in Grand Forks.

Lorraine Winter was born March 3, 1929 in Mantador, ND the daughter of John and Julia (Reisdorfer) Winter. She was raised and educated in Wahpeton, ND. Lorraine moved to East Grand Forks, MN in 1952 and was employed with Black's Sweet Shop. Lorraine married Harry Jerombeck on November 4, 1952 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks. She was employed as a waitress for over 30 years in several restaurants in Grand Forks, including: Web's Café, Palace Café, Dakota Hotel and Golden Hour Café. Lorraine married Max Lindberg on August 19, 1994 in Crookston, MN. Max preceded her in death on December 2, 1996.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Kelly) Jerombeck, James (Julie) Jerombeck, both of Grand Forks, ND, Patrick Jerombeck Walters, Montana; daughters, Susan (Larry) Anderson, St.Cloud, MN; a brother, Michael (Irene) Winter, Prescott, AZ; son-in-law, Merle Manthey, Savage, MN; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max; a daughter, JoAnn Manthey; a brother, Fred Patrick Winter and a sister, Rosemarie Schafer.

Funeral Liturgy: 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home-Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Friday.

Interment: Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
