Stage and Screen Actress. She was born and died in Madrid. She debuted on stage at the age of 17 in stage company of María Guerrero on the play "La Malquerida" of Jacinto Benavente, becoming a Lady of Spanish Stage. In 1922, she married to valencian actor Rafael Rivelles and formed their own stage company, obtaining great triumphs with "Cancela" and "La Madre Guapa" touring for Spain and South America. In the 30s, she and his husband worked in Hollywood, playing the spanish versions of Hollywood films such as "La Mujer X" and "Cheri Bibi." After the Spanish Civil War, she divorced of Rafael Rivelles, and continued her stage work on "Olvidadiza," "Mancha que Limpia" and "La Papirusa." In 1933, she married to actor Pedro Larrañaga. On screen, she appeared in over 25 films, such as "Niebla" (1931), "El Hombre que se Reía del Amor" (1932), "Rosas de Otoño" (1943), "Un Ángel Tuvo la Culpa" (1959), "¿Dónde Vas Triste de Ti?" (1960), "La Cumparsita" (1961), "Me Enveneno de Azules" (1969) and "El Bosque del Lobo" (1970). From her first matrimony, she have a daughter, the actress Amparo Rivelles and from her second, he have a son, the actor Pedro Larrañaga.
