Roscoe Willoughby Little was born to Levi Charles and Louisa Little on March 26, 1891 in Burt County, Nebraska.

In 1910, Roscoe was working as a hired man on a farm.

On Feb. 14, 1911, he married Larsine C. Jensen, the daughter of Danish parents who farmed in Burt County. Roscoe was 20 years old; Larsine was 23.

In 1914, Roscoe signed up for the WWI Draft. On the papers he was described as a short man, of medium build, with brown eyes and brown hair. Roscoe listed his nearest relatives as his wife and child, and his occupation as farming.

The 1920 Census lists
Roscoe, head (28)
Larsine, wife (31)
Phoebe, daughter (6)
Clarence Brunley, (26), farm laborer

In 1930, there were some changes:
Roscoe, head (39)

Lawrence Marcom, lodger, farm laborer

In 1940, Roscoe and Larsine were still farming in Silver Creek Township, Burt County, Nebraska. Phoebe was still at home, now 26 years old, but their son was no longer there, and they did not have a hired man living with them.

Roscoe Willoughby Little passed away August 31, 1975. His death certificate shows he died at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Missouri.
