She was born November 13, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of Chuck and Frances Phillips Bedillion.
Mrs. Godwin worked for the family business, Godwin Nursery and Trees.
She was a member of American Legion Post 902, Houston.
Mrs. Godwin enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.
On November 11, 1989, she married George R. "Hoss" Godwin Jr., who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Saunseiarae "Angel" Wasnik of West Alexander; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Bizub; two brothers, Richard W. Bedillion and Michael "Dude" Bedillion, both of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Beverly Darlene Martino is deceased.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 24, with Pastor Andrew Hollick officiating.
